      Sky Sports Coverage

Perhaps I am expecting a bit too much from Sky. A full premiership programme over 2 nights (12 & 13 January) and NOT ONE SINGLE game covered on Sky Sports.

I challenge a spokesperson from Sky Sports management to justify the very extortionate fee they charge SUPPOSEDLY so they are able to bring us the best football coverage. BT on the other hand have some of the best games.

I shall be surprised after this pathetic coverage if anyone has the guts to try and defend their performance

I SHALL NOT BE HOLDING MY BREATH!!

I am not sure what you hope to achieve, this is not an official Sky site. As it says in the top banner

Welcome to Sky User - The Unofficial Support Forum for everything Sky!
If you wish to complain you will have to do it on the official Sky site, - Home - Sky Community Even then you will only receive platitudes, as Sky do not official comment even on their own site.

      Re: Sky Sports Coverage

A lot of people were upset when BT muscled in on the Sports coverage.

Personally I think that they've all spent too much money on the whole lot, but BT Sport actually won the golden ticket with some of the choicest items.

Sky won a different group of matches.

Currently the only way you're guaranteed to see any potential TV coverage of your favourite team is to subscribe to both.

There are a lot of political rumblings going on over this. Rather than make any accusations over who's paying for what or how, I'll leave you to do the research.

Thats no guarantee either as they both mostly only show the big 4-5 clubs, with supporters of clubs like my club leics city get very few live games.

If they want to stop people watching illegal streams they need to get them all shown live in the uk.

      Re: Sky Sports Coverage

As much as I am sure the football clubs love the exposure and the phenomenal TV fees, I believe that they also love the fans to actually turn up and watch them live.

Of course the big clubs do not have sufficient space in their stands to allow all their fans to watch all their matches, but that breeds a recipe for hiking up the prices that the charge their fans.
