The Football League will kick off its busy festive period next month with a television first; ten matches in ten days all live on Sky Sports.

Christmas and New Year is a crucial time of the season for teams in The Football League. 180 matches are played across the three divisions over the festive season and a good run of form in December and January can provide the foundations for the rest of the season.

Brighton who play Middlesbrough on 19 December will be hoping they can hold on to their status as the only unbeaten team in the top four divisions through December and into the new year. 10 in 10 will also give Sky Sports viewers the opportunity to see how QPR and Blackburn Rovers continue to fare under new managers Neil Warnock and Paul Lambert.
