Sky Sports customers will be able to watch even more goals this season at no extra cost as part of an exclusive digital partnership with the Sun.

This season Sky customers who subscribe to Sky Sports will be given access to Sun Goals, with the service delivering goals and match clips from the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Barclays Premier League, Emirates FA Cup and Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership.

At no extra cost, Sky Sports customers will be able to access goals and match clips on their phone or tablet device, bringing a range of football action to their fingertips throughout the season.

Sky TV customers with Sky Sports will be able to request a unique voucher code to access Sun+ using their SkyID at sky.com/sungoals, where they can enjoy Sun Goals.

Up to 35m users a month engage with Sky Sports’ digital media services, the additional offering of football clips via Sun Goals will provide even more content to Sky Sports customers across digital platforms.

Sky’s Director of Content Marketing, Robert Tansey said: "With the beginning of the season upon us this is a great addition for Sky Sports customers to have even more goals at their fingertips.

"Sky offers so many ways to watch across TV, online and mobile, and Sun Goals will add even more fantastic content for our customers from the Barclays Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and much more at no extra cost."

David Dinsmore, Editor of The Sun, said: “This is a fantastic partnership that will give Sky customers access not only to goals and highlights, but also The Sun’s world-class football journalism. We are delighted to be able to introduce The Sun’s football coverage to a wider audience.”

In addition to adding Sun Goals to its offering, Sky Sports recently won the rights to show clips from every Premier League game across its digital platforms. The three-year agreement begins in the 2016-17 season with clips from every Premier League match being made available to both mobile and online users.

Sneaky wee add-on to help with losing Champions league coverage. I'm sure BT might be a little miffed. They'll probably just make sure they buy these rights as well next time!
