Adding Sky Sports - offers ? options ?

I've decided to stick with Sky (I think !) and want the sports on. I currently have the regular pack and a couple of options so it costs 18.50 now, pre any increases. I have Sky telephone and broadband for the normal cost.

I see adding Sky Sports would add 18 or roughly double my TV costs and then there is the issue of ESPN, which I don't think is worth it.

Are there any deals out there ? anything to get discounts or a better deal than simply phoning up ? I've only been on a couple of months so I've not much leverage.

      Thanks

If you are mainly interested in Premiership footy then SS1 + ESPN at 20 a month may be a better deal than the full Sports Pack. You lose Champions League and the odd games on SS2 & SS3 but gain the extra PL games.

That ESPN seems real expensive for what it is. 46 games for 12*9=108 or 2.35 a game.

Is anything else on ESPN ? I knew the channel from overseas but it was always "free". US sports do nothing for me and have no value.

WHat else is on SS2 and SS3 ?

No, it's 9 if you have "any Sky Sports Pack" - confusing because there is also a "Sports Pack" with all three Sky Sports channels.

See Create Your Sky TV Combination - Sky Packages, Broadband and Talk - Join Online for details. It reduces the ESPN price if you select SS1 or SS2 on its own.
