I am with Virgin for phone line and bb which of course has free tv built in (which is in my bedroom). Also have sky HD for my main TV, the reason I am a bit peeved because there was talk about it being 5 per month. I used to have Setanta which of course I payed 15.98 as I had it in two rooms. When they went bust I thought hmm Sky HD at a cost of 9.75 so if I was then to add ESPN at the original it would have been total cost of 14.75 therefore a saving of a whopping...wait for it...1.23.
However I managed to get 10mb bb and phone from virgin for 16 down from 24 (which had 2mb conection), have also added all movies and all sports on sky so as it stands i'll be paying an extra 8.25 with ESPN. May have to change what packages I get now to end up paying the same amount as I was last season. Oh well.

      Espn 108 a year ?????????

This cost is absolutely ridiculous, for 46 premier and 30 scotish games, what ever happened to 50 one off payment for the season, not only that its just one extra channel

Is this going to be reveiwed, as when I received my email last night it say's save 5 when upgrade online but today it say's save 10 now.

      Please tell us your thoughts

      Re: Espn 108 a year ?????????

Hi by my calculations that makes it 1.39 per game , which although not as cheap as Skys early bird price for premiership plus a couple of seasons ago is still not bad value. Setanta charged up 12 per month for this. Also although Sky provide the platform for this channel the product is owned by ESPN, who will dictate the price.

Don't forget that it is just not Premiership and SPL football that they are showing for the price. They have football from other leagues around Europe and American sports as well which are going to be on another ESPN channel.

Setanta charged up 12 per month for this.
..and they still went out of business.
Will that price include the US Tour Golf?

"you pays your money and takes your choice"
An old expression i know, but still true. If you dont think its worth it for you then dont pay and dont view. Others will think it is and will pay.
      Its a totaly individual decision.
Tom, get modding theres a couple of threads here that could be merged, dont do a Hornet tho

But is it in the Sports mix? If so it raises the cost quite a bit.

      Thanks for the Eurosports pointer.
