      To true Saturday. It beats me why they need to have you put cancellations in writing to them when you can phone up to activate your subscription. Being a suspicious person i would suspect it is to deter you from cancelling and as has been said easy for them to state that they have lost it. You may wish to cancel using our Special Next Day Delivery service which unlike Recorded is guaranteed to be there the next day before 13.00pm. A quick look at our internet site next day will normally show a signature. Not fool proof though i must admit

      Regular payments should always be made by DDI where you have the DD guarantee. Disputes over lost cancellation letters then beomes the bank problem as you can make an indemnity claim whereby the bank refunds you and then actively chases down the company.

      Setanta will take far more notice of a bank than an individual and it's not unknown for a company's bank to withdraw services if they are not adhering to banking regs.
