I think you get fewer Setana channels with Freeview.

All you get is Setanta Sports 1, I currently pay 12.98 for Setanta as I have it in another room, may have to cancel this one now and just have it in the main room unless I can get them to apply the offer that they are offereing new customers

      Re: Setanta Price Changes

I rang up and said im a bit annoyed at the pay rise and becuse of it was thinking of cancelling my multiroom unless then can give me the offer that they are giving me for new customers.
She said the price had only gone up by 10p a day, she put me on hold to see if they could apply the offer, whebn she came back she said she couldnt. The only way I could do it os if I cancelled in writing then after 30 days acrtivate it again with the offer but the offer only runs till the end of this month, so basically I cant.

You have to laugh at how they work, offer football at a cheap rate for a number of months then make it hard to cancel. I'm glad Sky don't make you put it in writing when trying to cancel or as I have done a few times, change or downgrade your TV package.

what a joke. Does anyone know the address to write to or the number to cancel? Their web site is next to useless for this sort of thing.

      Re: Setanta Price Changes

      Found this on AV Forums

Here at Setanta we are always keen to hear feedback from our customers
on the service we offer, therefore we prefer to speak to our customers
directly. Can I therefore ask you to call 08712 00 33 22 and press
option 2, this will allow you to speak to one of our dedicated Account
      Management Agents.

Alternatively, you can write to Setanta Sports on Freeview,PO Box
800,Kirkcaldy, Fife,KY2 6WD, giving 30 days notice of your intent to
      cancel.

      Re: Setanta Price Changes

To follow up... I actually found the number >> 0870 0506980. I called up to cancel and have actually ended up keeping it for 5 per month until December, then it goes back to 12.99 or I can cancel.

It might be worth giving them a call to cancel - they may offer the same deal and the do have a decent line up of sport.
