So does this mean once you've reg'd your card in say the sky+ box downstair, it wont be able to go in the multi room box upstair?

Thinking about getting rid of sky sports package and getting setanta.

      sghog,
      a) No - Setanta dont offer a "MultiRoom" subscription, You pay at a rate of Per Box/Card.
      b) You could try taking the card from Downstairs (The one with Setanta) and try it upstairs, It most probably will work, As I think its only the Sky Premium channels that work on just one box - The one the card has been paired up with.

Just move the card to the 'other' box - it works for me.

hey my sky + box is coming tommorow in my room and if im willing to pay the price for Setanta each month is there anyway I can have it setup for my viewing card upstairs instead of the one downstairs?

How much is the montly subscription 10 or 15. Can I phone sky for these channels or does it have to be setanta. if im able to get this package can i get it on my viewing card in my room not downstairs and how? lastly can you record from setanta with sky ?

      Re: Setanta and Multi room

You can record Setanta from Sky, To recieve Setanta you will have to phone up Setanta themselves and NOT SKY It is 10 P/Month, Have a look Here - Setanta.com UK - Setanta Sports. When you subscribe just tell them the viewing number upstairs if you want or downstairs

I have the Setanta multi room, you pay for 2 subscriptions the second one is 2.99 which I dont mind paying as i have cancelled the main sky sports and just got sky sports1, so still saving money.

      Re: Setanta and Multi room

Just looking on Setanta site and they are currently doing a promotion where you can get it on a second sky box free for 3 months.

      Satellite | Setanta

      It's 2.99 a month after that.

      Hope that helps.
