    Notice of new bill

      Notice of new bill

      Is there anyway I can set up my account so that I get an email when I have a new bill ready?

      I would have thought that as part of the Direct Debit guarantee, that Sky would have to inform customers of a new bill rather than expect us to remember to log on every month.

      I don't know of any way you can do this, but if you look at your account at any time you can see the date when your next bill is due. No company I have DDs with advise you before they take the money.

      All the other companies where the amount each month is variable advise me by text or email when I have a new bill. Only the ones where the amount remains the same each month don't advise me.
      I was under the impression it is a requirement of the Direct Debit guarantee.

      Sky have never done this as far as I'm aware.

      I get a text (or email depending on how you set it up) from EE every month when my mobile bill is ready.

      Sky *did* used to send me a text telling me that a new bill was available, but this was a year or two back now and they seemed to stop sending them just as randomly as they started in the first place!

      If you have a smartphone or tablet, I find that the Sky Service app is much quicker & easier to use than the website for checking bill amounts etc.

      Google play states that the My Sky app, which I believe to be the replacement for the Sky Service app, is incompatible with my Nexus 7 tablet.
      Don't know if this applies to all Android tablets.
