      Same here.
Snap but after a web chat, phone call and email I now have sky sports half price for 6mths and broadband half price for 12 months.

I didn't have any offers on my account but complained as to why I wasn't eligible for these offers and have been given them.

I don't have and don't want Sports. Nothing for those with Movies, so it looks like a direct attack on BT.

Our letter arrived today, +50p and no offers in MySky.

It's all academic really as the Wife and I had a good old chat about the TV situation last week and finally agreed that we need a break from pay TV, so YouView it will be for us going forward.

I'm seriously beginning to think about ditching it. Freeview is looking better now and Youview looks a good box. I finally got around to installing a freeview aerial last week. 50 from screwfix and fitted in the loft..... perfect picture.

Freeview just needs these extra HD channels next year. Coupled with AppleTV VOD it could be a good solution.

My only concern is the Ryder Cup..... I can get away with the football through one form or another but the Ryder Cup and Ashes is the last real stumbling block for me.

Re: Sky TV price increase on 1 September 2013 by up to 10%

I will be adding an Apple TV as well, easy way to rent a film, watch any of the films & tv shows we already have in iTunes and I can even add Netflix in for a month if I'm really desperate!

Not a Golf or Cricket fan so that's not an issue for us either. We are in a really good Freeview signal area plus we have a decent wideband aerial and when I flicked on the TV's internal tuner recently I was surprised at how good the picture was compared to the last time I used it (which was probably pre analogue switch off).

Sure I would prefer more HD content but I'm just not prepared to pay so much money for it any more, especially when I don't have the time to watch half of it!

I'm with you red, I'm going to drop movies and sport for now and then maybe the rest next month. When I see the great offers that new customers get it's clear that Sky aren't interested in rewarding loyalty.

I think you are looking under rewards and not upgrades.
Under Upgrades from your account it should show quite a few offers; new bundles, broadband upgrades, sky box upgrades etc

No offers or upgrades for me, guess I'm going to be giving my 31 days notice this evening. I have a Smart TV with HD Freeview & Freesat and recording ability along with an external Freesat HD receiver and a DVD/HD recorder that I can play with.

Re: Sky TV price increase on 1 September 2013 by up to 10%

My price increase is 5% which is unwelcome. However, what really annoys me is their pricing structure. If you went into Greggs and asked for a cake and the assistant insisted that you couldn't buy a cake until you'd bought a pie you wouldn't be happy: but that's Skys pricing policy in a nutshell.
I only want to watch Sky Sports, Eurosport and Freeview channels in HD but they demand I purchase several hundred channels of (in my view) rubbish before I can view the channels I am interested in.
I don't know about "believe in better" I'd just like to see them start with fairer.
