Audio Quality
I have a previous thread somewhere, where I got plenty of help swapping a single LNB to quad LNB.
Anyway, I got it all connected and found everything to be a-ok. But I have noticed I have had to turn the TV's volume up quite a lot, compared to when I had the standard white STB and single LNB.
Could it be the box's settings or the LNB signal need fiddling around?
Thanks!

Re: Audio Quality
It is a software issue, newer versions of the EPG had the sound option removed and hardcoded, it is nothing to do with the LNB and no settings on the box will help

Re: Audio Quality
You can check signal strength and signal quality from within the settings menu but if the picture is good with no freezing or pixelation it is unlikely to be a problem with the LNB. Is it just low volume or is there popping or unexpected silences? Which box do you have? The version and model number from the system details page would be useful. What make of TV do you have and how is it connected to the Sky box? Is there any difference in volume level between an SD channel and its HD equivalent?

Re: Audio Quality
It is completely impossible for an LNB to affect the volume. The audio is multiplexed with the video and audio of several channels. Nothing can affect it until it is decoded.
