How did you manage that? Sick of my HD box crashing every day and a 2TB for 50 quid would be spot on!

Go to the Sky website and log into your My Sky account.

Click on the 'Offers' link and see what options are available for you.

Sky have various deals for their customers depending on specifically what they have.

If you have an old Thomson STB (Sky+ or Sky+ HD) there is another option available at the moment: A free replacement. Search this forum for more information on this if it is applicable to you.

Or ring them up and talk to them.
I've found a friendly approach works every time, much to my friends disgust whose approach is threaten to leave.

Only offer online is half price sports, I shall give them a friendly call on Monday then and see what they can do.

      Cheers

If you call Sky and switch to Entertainment Extra+ at the same time as adding the box (I don't think you can do this online) then the box will be 49. You will then have option of 60 install, 15 delivery or free install if upgrading to a first multiroom subscription. These are "global" offers so open to any customer.
You will have to sacrifice F1 by doing it this way.

That's the way I got it although I didn't have HD at the time.
As I wasn't told about the delivery charge during the webchat. when I rang to arrange it I was given 6 months 1/2 price line rental to compensate.

      Re: 2TB Box

it was sounding so good until the "lose F1" part of the deal. Sounds like chatting to them about the options is the best bet.
Is the 2TB any better for not crashing?

I have had a 2TB STB for several months now. Apart from a handful of problematic firmwares during the beta testing (sorted before public release) the STB has behaved very well.

My 2TB STB is in the lounge and is on virtually everyday from early in the morning until late at night.
