      New Multiroom subscription

I've tried to make sense online but can't seem to make any sense of it so wondering if you guys could shine the light a bit more for me ?

Currently, I have Sky+ HD as my multiroom box, with a white sky+ box in the living room.
Previously we had a 2nd multiroom subscription with the standard white sky box, but we cancelled that last year.

I'm now hoping to reinstate this 2nd multiroom subscription and get a HD box for that room rather than use the existing white standard box with no HD functionality.
Given the set-up I currently have, how much would it cost to get an HD box?

I know the £60 installation fee applies - which is ok given a 2nd feed would have to be installed into the room.

      Cheers for any help

I would like to say £109 (49+60) for 2 TB box but a lot would depend on when you cancelled your 2nd multiroom subscription. If early January then fine but any later and there is no benefit to Sky in the form of extra subscription. I would give upgrades a call and see what they can offer you.

I cancelled the multiroom in August last year.
I'll give them a phone and see what they say

      Re: New Multiroom subscription

Do you have a HD Subscription for the Sky+ HD which you do have? If you do, then the 2nd STB will have the HD subscription included for free.

If you log into the Sky site and look at you My Sky section, you can then click the 'Upgrades' link. This should then let you see what is possible for you.

Sky are interested in promoting the HD subscription. If you have this, then the STBs will be offered at a reduced price. If you don't have the HD subscription, then it will cost extra.

Yeah I do have the HD pack
All the different prices confuse me ; there is a 2tb box listed which looks different to the one I have so I assume I would get it for the £49.

Ill have a look at the upgrades section and see what it says

As you have the HD Pack, then the offers should be better.

For myself the DRX890 (250GB) was available for free.

As previously mentioned you my bring stung for the offers£60 installation fee. As the feeds from the LNB are already in place I would haggle to see if this can be waived.

There is only one connection in the room I'm wanting to get multiroom back into - would they not be required to add an additional one into the room?

I that case you will need someone to fit a replacement cable if you want to benefit from the Sky+ feature. Rather than run another single feed, they will normally replace the existing cable with a paired cable.
