Missing Channels
I've recent been getting 'No Satellite Signal Is Being Received' on certain Sky Channels like all the Sky Channel Movies (with the exception of the movie channel that is currently showing the Bond movies), the Discovery Channels, Universial, Comedy Central X. But I can still get most of the other Sky Channels, all the Freeview Channels. I've done a Signal Test and I'm getting excellent quality and strength signals. I have the basic White Amstrad SD Sky Box. Does anybody know what is causing my Sky viewing problems?

Re: Missing Channels
OK, so recently I've managed to see most of the channels that I had trouble viewing within the last few days. But I'm getting problems with CNBC, Sony and the Horror Channels. Sky has schedule a guy to check out what is causing my problem. I was wondering since my viewing problems seem to be clearing up should I just cancel the appointment with the Sky Technician?

Re: Missing Channels
It sounds like a simple hardware issue. If it is affected by the weather (i.e. rain in the cable) then it would still be best to get someone to check it all out IMHO.

Re: Missing Channels
Thanks for advice Scubbie! The technician replaced the dish and the cabling, apparently the dish I was using is an really old model. Also you were right do to the extreme weather we have been having, the wind also moved the dish out of allignment.
