Sky HD - multiroom/ multiple TVs etc
Current setup is:-
Sky+ HD in living room with wired magic eye connection to bedroom 1
Multi-room to standard sky+ box in bedroom2. Wired magic eye connection to bedroom3.
So, we can watch HD in living room, watch same sky box in bedroom 1 (albeit not HD since its coax). Also, can record/watch different Sky SD in bedrooms 2 and 3.
Currently getting a garage conversion with new HD TV in there. What I want to be able to do is watch either of the Sky boxes in there. (Yes, I know my 2nd box is not HD).
Whats best way to achieve this? I was thinking:-
1. Long HDMI cable from living room. And then remote control extender?
2. Split co-ax from upstairs and send downstairs also. (Although will it work with two magic eyes on cable?) Or could use remote control extender again?
3. Video senders? Are these even any good?Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm Welsh

Re: Sky HD - multiroom/ multiple TVs etc
Another option would be to get a SkyHD STB fitted for the garage and install a connection for the LAN too. When Sky adds the ability to access the Sky+ HD STB via the SkyHD STB, then you would have even greater choice and independence.
