how do i retune sky hd box for local channels?
Hi,
I have just installed a 2nd hand sky HD box.
It works great, however the TV listings on the guide menu are showing bbc and ITV 'Yorkshire'.... I live in the Granada TV area, so how do I retune the box to obtain my regional channels?
also everything works on the remote except for the volume and mute buttons... anyone got any ideas? a Duff remote possibly?

Sky local regions are determined by the viewing card postcode. You need a card issued by Sky with your correct postcode to get your proper region.
For the volume & mute to work with your TV you need to check here SkyUser - Sky TV Remote Control Codes Checker
Look up the make of your TV (eg Phillips select the "P" tab & look for Phillips) & get all possible codes for that brand. There is a detailed guide on the notes at the link I gave above.
