      Out of contract

I only have Sky Entertainment Extra and have been out of contract a while, has anyone in my position called Sky and managed to do a deal to make it worth signing for a further 12 months ?

      Thanks in advance.

      Re: Out of contract

Some members have called before now to give Sky 31 days notice and have had offers made on the phone or been called back a few days later. Experiences vary. However if you have a partner, you could get him/her to call and place a new contract a week or so after you've cancelled and they could take advantage of any deals for new customers.

There are plenty of official deals going on at the moment for new customers or existing customers signing up to new packages.

However do look at how much you are currently paying for the package you have. Remember that the prices were frozen last September and Entertainment Extra will cost you 25 as a new customer.

If your partner does sign up to a new contract, make sure that you hide your existing STBs so that you can get the new ones which you would have paid for.

You are not out of contract, when the initial 12 months is up you automatically go on to a 1 month rolling contract. As Scubbie says the only way you will get an offer is to tell them you are cancelling as you can't afford it.
