System Fault 06-0
Hi All,
I was sent here from the sky help forums, hopefully someone will be ableto help!
We have just upgrade our Sky account to multiroom. I purchased a sky plus hd box off ebay without a harddisk and have installed a 500gb WesternDigital drive in there. Obviously there is no programs to copy off another box or anything. So I just installed it without using copy+. I have phoned sky and registered the card to the box however I'm getting the System Fault - Sky Playback and recording are unavailable.
Ive phoned sky on the number and explained. They have reset the box (which I had already done) Rebuilt the planner (already done) and resent the signal to the card.
None of this has worked. I have tried to do a reset holding down the left and right buttons after killing the power, but all that happens is I get the Black sky please wait screen and then the box goes back into standby.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

Re: System Fault 06-0
This fault is usually a failed or failing hard drive. Did you get a guarantee that the box was in good working order bar the lack of a hard drive? Have you checked the drive on a PC to make sure it is working?
