Sky Box Office Prices is it now free

Is sky box office now free I have a Sky + HD Box and it has never charged me to watch a box office movie select one it says checking purchase iinformation then says £0.00 press select then im watching it never displays a price or even because it's saying £0.00 is it still charging me

Sky box office isn't free but they much must be a glitch in the system somewhere for this to continually happen. I wouldn't be surprised if one day it is fixed and you get charged for these films.

You could always call Sky about it

Yes it is and always has been but if they want to charge me they can't as the law says they have to charge the price displayed before purchase like if Tescos have beans and the shelf lable says 20p but they scan at 40p at the till they have to by law charge 20p as thats the price displayed so sky have to charge £0.00

Thats not actually true, they can admit it was a mistake or human error and then legally refuse to sell that product at the lower price. Normally they would honour it as a gesture of good will though.

I've just checked my box, and BO programs do show the correct price here.

Even when I received free BO offers from Sky in the past, I paid for them and Sky just credited my account to cancel out the charge.

I wonder if the OP has an older box, and there maybe some kind of glitch. I noticed he cannot get Anytime+ as it looks like the box is incompatible according to the graphic.

In which case, he is onto a winner for the BO side of things, but not for the Anytime+ side of things.

As the price is not displayed for the BO side of things, fairly sure he is safe even though the box maybe recording what he has watched etc and then dials home to Mother Ship Sky for them to possibly bill for etc

I can't get Anytime on my box but I still have to pay for box office movies
Actually, haven't had one in a while....will try it out tonight! Excited now!
