Changing from 'Entertainment Extra' to 'Entertainment' +HD pack

      Hi folk's,

I would like the HD pack for the F1 etc, but being a bit tight fisted, I don't want to pay the 10.25 extra per month.

Ah-ha, I thought, what if I downgrade my 'Entertainment Extra' pack to just 'Entertainment' and then add the HD pack. That would only be an extra 5.25 per month, I think.

Just looked at my online account and it won't let me select that option.
Has anyone on here done this?
Did it have to be done over the phone?

I don't want to do it over the phone as I was also hoping to get cashback via Quidco as well.

      Thanks for any info.

      Cheers

I would suggest that calling Sky would be better as it tends to be difficult to downgrade on-line.

There is an option buried on the Sky site to downgrade.

To add to the possible complications, if you subscribed to Sky TV before last September, there may be a price rise. For anyone who subscribed to Sky before last September, the prices were frozen and the packs were changed. a lot of people have probably forgotten this and will be surprised when the new prices come into effect in around 6 months time.

      Thanks for the reply Scubbie.

I've had a good search on the Sky website and I can't find any way to downgrade from Entertainment Extra. Would you care to enlighten us?
You can downgrade from the premium channels it seems, but not E.Extra. Well I can't find it anyway.

I've been subscribed to Sky for years and currently pay 24.50 per month. E.Extra costs 25 per month, so yes, looks like I will have to pay more in August. Even more reason to downgrade!

      Cheers

It is getting a little late in the day, but you could try this link:

Personally I would suggest the phone call as you can check whilst talking to the person just what the charges will be. don't forget that you normally need to give 30 days too to cancel a sky product.
