upgrde to the new black Sky+ or sky+HD box
Hello all.
i currently have the old white Sky+ box.
If i buy from ebay the new black Sky+ or Sky+HD box can i use my existing card from my old box?

Yes. You will need to call Sky to pair the card with the box. It takes about 5 minutes to do so.

Some have found that Sky will not pair a box which is still under the 12 month contract with the original owner, so don't buy one that is too new.

So no matter what happens i need to ring Sky to pair my card to the box? will all the Sky+ functions work etc? also any settings i need to do to optomise it? as i remember the Sky engineer fiddling around with the settings when we had out SKY+ (whte box) put in.

Not that I know of, as long as if a multiroom box, it is plugged into the telephone line they probably wouldn't care.
When I got given a new box I just rang up and paired it up no issues.
Thought you were trying the cancellation route?
