Re: upgrde to the new black Sky+ or sky+HD box

i rang today and told them i cannot afford the high cost per month, as with virgin its 10 cheaper.

To my astonishment i told them i am paying to much and want to leave they said ok, but if i waive your line rental for sky talk and give you SKY+HD box for 15 and entertainment extra free for 12 months would i stay?

      i said i take it.

Leads me to think why they could only discount my sky talk to bring my total cost down i only made 1 call in the phone 5 months LOLz and that was a mistake my auntie did to call her husband from my house LOLz

maybe they see i dont use my phone much so they can waive the cost??

      Enjoy it!

A word of caution though: I recall someone posting that they had previously tried and succeeded, by a year later they tried again and the cancellation went through.

      Am I understanding this correctly?

You got 12 months free line rental, upgraded from Entertainment to Entertainment Extra at no extra cost and are taking the 10.25 HD pack for 12 months?

Re: upgrde to the new black Sky+ or sky+HD box

Yes, as i been paying full price for all BB, Phone, TV (ALL packages for 4 years) for 5 years and never had any offers ALSO i never ever use my telephone either.

in addition, they also messed up my broadband for 1 year as they put me down as a lower package but billing me for the expensive package (i reminded them on that :-)) and varius billing errors along the way. So i was not bothered if they cancelled me as i was prepared to get MAC code send letter 1 months in advance etc.

So i guess i had history.
