How to connect a Sky+ box to a monitor

Hi,

I have a Pace BSkyB3100 box and I would like to connect it to my Dell SP2208W monitor. Can anyone offer any ideas?

You will need a cable like this Scart to 15 Pin VGA Cable - 2M. This will transfer the picture to the monitor, sound will have to go through another route! I'm assuming you have a LCD/Plasma screen, it may not work with an old fashioned CRT monitor due to scan rates.

The output of the Sky+ box is only SD so an expensive add-on might not be cost effective. Taking the RGB signal from the SCART might be just as effective and costs under £3 delivered.

I think you're out of luck with the Refresh Rate.
