Re: Channels keep disappearing
What's the manufacturer's name? Look at the back of the box, eg Thomson , Amstrad etc. Is it a Sky, Sky+ or Sky+HD box? Or shall we all just guess?

Re: Channels keep disappearing
OK. So it's a Thomson. This creeping loss of channels means that you have failing capacitors on the PSU. Standard symptoms ( I experienced it on mine ), so the best thing to do is either phone Sky for a replacement box ( £65 service call), source a second-hand box from fleabay etc, or attempt a self repair.
There are lots of posts on 'Thomson PSU' for you to read if you use the Search function above.Panasonic TX-P50G10B, Onkyo HTS 3305, Sky+HD Thomson 4E3007 (with upgraded PSU & WD5000AVDS HDD),

Re: Channels keep disappearing
The Model Number ( 132_168 ) is from System Details in the Services Menu. Sky's and the Manufacturer's Model numbers never seem to be the same. Very confusing . Same with my Thomson DSI8215 ( Sky Model Number 102140 in System Details ).
