      Bad signal and low volume

Hello, i am getting a very poor picture on the TV and sound is much lower volume compared to Free-view or terrestrial channels, when i unplug the arial input lead from the back of the box the Sky picture is back to high quality. Before i risk climbing on the roof of the house to inspect the arial are there any other checks i can make.
      cheers
      Darren.

Re: Bad signal and low volume

You need to change the RF output channel. If you have a Sky HD box, press services, 0,0,0,1,select and change the RF channel. If you have a Standard or Sky+ box, then it's Services, 4, 0,1,select.

Press Services first, not TV guide.

Re: Bad signal and low volume

You could always just plug the aerial straight into the TV, instead of going through the box.

You must press Services, then 001 without a pause, then Select, then 4 for the RF settings.

Try this Services button, right arrow to Settings then 001, Select, then 4.
