      Will updating the system software delete hd programs??

      Hello all,

      Simple question...thinking of updating the system software to see if it gets rid of some bugs i seem to have but wanted to know that if i do update the system software will it delete the programs that we have recorded on the hard drive ??
      box is an Amstrad sky+ HD box

      thanks for any info

      Holding "backup" to force a firmware download should have no effect on your recordings.

      Performing a "Planner Rebuild" should have no effect on your recordings (but may occasionally if there's a hard drive fault - but you'd lose them anyway).

      Performing a "System Reset" will erase the Hard Drive contents.
