Sky Suspended my account.
Hi, I am new here.
My Sky account was recently suspeneded as I cancelled my credit-card and did not notify Sky about it.
As I found out a couple days ago, once the payment failed Sky suspended my account.
I was unaware of this at the time as I was away.
I phoned them on Friday payed the outstanding balance and they restored my services.
But for a two week period I did not receive any TV which Sky charged £55 for (Entertainment Plus and Sports Package) .
My question is I am entitled to ask for a discount as I did not receive the TV service for this period?
Or will they just blame me?

Re: Sky Suspended my account.
No discount as it was your fault you couldn't receive the service.

Re: Sky Suspended my account.
I'd say it depends on how long you've been with Sky. If you were still in your first year of subscribing having received free equipment with a one year tie in then you won't get a refund as your subscription is part paying for the free digibox and dish and you can't cancel without paying the balance of the first years subscription.
If you were outwith the first year with Sky then you are entitled to downgrade your package at any time unless you've just upgraded (you can't downgrade after upgrading for one month) so you should be entitled to a full refund possibly. At least it would be worth a try.
