Re: 1 Sep new packs
Yep, same here.
All the new channels have been activated for the new pack details.
Slightly disappointed though as something I thought I'd record earlier last month isn't available for me to watch, even though the channel is now included in my revised package.
PlusNet Fibre since Jan 2021
Previously Sky Fibre & Sky BB since 2010.

Oh Scubbie, no !
And Sky 1's "Mount Pleasant" appeared in HD on anytime+ showcase and available for me to watch even though I don't subscribe to HD, which (again) is nice....

Re: 1 Sep new packs
Was going to post a question about this. I only sub to the 'knowledge' pack, but today find I can get all the 'lifestyle' channels, plus sky1, watch, gold, dave etc.
Is this right?.

Re: 1 Sep new packs
Yes, you subscribed to the basic variety pack as well, yes? I mean you got sky 1, uk living?. This means 2 packs which generally "necessitates" a move to entertainment plus pack (aka the whole entertainment caboodle).
If only subscribed to the knowledge pack, you may have an axe (or at least tooth-pick) to grind with Sky.... [EDIT: incorrect, sorry, see below]Last edited by mcphailan.; 01-09-11 at 03:45 PM.

Re: 1 Sep new packs
Yep, that doesn't seem fair. BUT sadly (and very sorry to slightly raise hopes in last post) I've just realised that the knowledge pack is only available in the plus package, which means you'll be paying £25 from next Sep to keep it
see link here for what I mean - locate your knowledge progs: Enjoy More
This is probably the tip of the iceberg of disgruntled viewers and could backfire on sky!!!!
Wickedy (ok cynically at least), they seem to be using the principle that the more educated viewers like yourself can afford to pay more.....
PS My wife doesn't allow me to watch documentaries when she's watching with me, lol, so I'm on the basic stuff !

Re: 1 Sep new packs
So (just been looking at the sky packages) they've decided to ditch the flexibilty of the old packs (which they once made a big selling point of if I remember), and condense all those back down to 2 packs- take it or leave it (?) - Looks like I'll be ditching my sky tv package in a years time then. Shame, as I was more than happy with just the knowledge pack on its own, and happily lived without the extra gerth of stuff I mostly used to channel hop through anyway.
