      Antiference Remotelink - Help!

      Hi,

I have a new-ish Sky+HD box (Pace) with the RF2 output going to an Antiference A120D 2-way splitter/amplifier. The output of the amp then has an 8-10m run of coax terminating at a coax wall socket (non isolated). I then have a fly lead running from there to an antiference ME200 Remotelink which is plugged into a 2nd TV.

My problem is that while the 2nd TV does show the Sky channel from the box (albeit slightly grainy) so is clearly receiving the RF signal, the red LED on the ME200 is not lit so it's not receiving power, and I can't control my sky box using the 2nd remote via the Remotelink.

I have tested the ME200 by plugging it directly into the RF2 output on the Sky box and the LED comes on, so it's not a faulty unit and and the RF2 is powered.

I've also re-done all my connections to make sure they're solid.

Any ideas? Any help anyone can offer would be much appreciated!

Thanks Martin, newly procured voltmeter highlighted a dodgy connection in one of the screw-on coax plugs, all good now
