Sky HD issue
I have recently bought a HD box from ebay to replace our old standard set top box, I have been told that I need to get the previous owner to contact sky and tell them they no longer own the box.
Is this true and if not what do I need to do to get the HD channels and SKY+ features to work correctly.

The only thing you need to worry about for the moment is a friendly phone call to Sky.
Set up you new Sky+ HD STB, take your existing viewing card from your Sky STB and call Sky to pair the viewing card with the new STB.
Tel: 08442 414141
If there is any problem, then this is when you will find out.
If the STB has been reported as stolen or is still under contract, then Sky may refuse to pair your viewing card.
In most cases people do not have any problems.

Note - When downloading always select the Custom install or you will end up with stuff you don't want.
