sky plus HD favourites

I have just upgraded from Sky + to Sky + HD and at the moment I am quite pleased with the improvement with the picture and sound on HD channels. Previously I used the favourites selection and by using the blue button I could select one of the my favourite channels without having to plough through all the channels in sequence, which , presumably was the whole purpose of having this facility in the first place. On my new Sky + HD box I set up my favourites channels in exactly the same way as I did with my Sky + box and it works in exactly the same way with one exception. Having used the blue button to stop at a favourite programme after, say, 12 selections and then I decide I don't want to watch that channel, when I press the blue button to continue the sequence, the on screen banner, which indicates the channel number, goes back to the beginning of the sequence instead of carrying on from the selected programme, which did not happen with the Sky+ box. I hope you can see what I am trying to explain here. What am I doing wrong or is that the way Sky + HD favourites work.

yeah almost everyone hates that "feature"..there's sod all you can do about it You are doing nowt wrong, other than expecting it to work as it did before

I now use favourites from the tv guide more than the blue button which I used to love...cos you could select a channel whilst hopping through and then if you think "na, let's hop a bit more" the blue button would resume on the next favourite in sequence...nice and intuitive I thought....

A gripe I have is that that the "Downloads" tab doesn't show stuff you've downloaded from anytime+ - rather it shows stuff that's downloading, or scheduled to be downloaded....err not terribly useful (unless you wanna cancel stuff I guess)

A suggestion which was made on this forum earlier this year was to program the favourites choices with the terrestrial channels in HD. Certainly you can expand on this if you wish.

I've found it quite useful from time to time.

For reference, the 1st channel shown on the blue button is your last viewed channel. Subsequent presses scroll through the list of favourites.
