Re: Sky TV subscription frozen until August 2012
Thanks for that link. I've been busy today so hadn't been able to look at everything.
I had my delivery of the Sky magazines & the letter today. In the letter it stated that I would be placed on the 'Entertainment Extra Pack'. I was worried that I might lose a few channels but that page has made things a lot clearer.
Essentially I'll be getting the contents of the Entertainment pack & the additional channels in the 'Extra' pack. This I wasn't clear about previously.
I don't subscribe to the Sports channels or the News pack under the present packages and I can receive the Sky Sports News channels.

I think that Sky News and Sky Sports news are broacdcast unencrypted as some deal with OFCOM.

Re: Sky TV subscription frozen until August 2012
I haven't had my letter or magazine yet (is it me or are these mags getting later and later into the month) but from what you have said it is what I thought would happen in that they have to move people who currently subscribe to channels that are in both of the mixes onto the extra pack.
BTW, I posted this link much earlier in the thread

Re: Sky TV subscription frozen until August 2012
I got mine last week, maybe it was delivered by pony express
I didn't see anything about the new packs, was it in the letter on the back of the address label or in one of the mags? I haven't opened the mags yet.
