Sky + box with only one coax input

We have recently replaced our normal sky multi-room box with a Sky + box but we have only one coax cable going into the box. I know ideally we need to run another cable but we don't really need to be able to record anything and it just enables us to pause and rewind live tv which is great. When we first turn the box on, it comes up with the dreaded 'No satellite signal being received'. Turning the box on and off at the mains sorts this out every time but is a bit of a pain. Is there any way around this without running the second cable?

      Thanks in advance

Do you have the white Sky+ STB or the Black Sky+ HD STB (as in your profile)?

Use Dish Input 1 on the digibox. If it's an HD box, make sure Single Feed Mode is ON, and Sky Anytime is OFF.

It's the older white Sky + box. Just checked and it's in input 1
