      Overcharged and trouble removing package

In April (27th or 28th), i decided to remove the Movies 2 package, leaving me with just the variety pack, i saw the change on my account as removing the 1 pack + movies and then adding the 1 pack back again, no problem i thought, it should make my bill 8 cheaper a month. It was at the time 46.25 so about 38.25 ?

On the 21st of May i added the Knowledge pack, should be an extra 1 a month so was expecting my bill to be around the 40 mark now. I phoned up Sky when i recieved a letter saying i had added 2 packs + movies2. I was reassured that because it was still in the 30 day cancellation period, i was still seeing the movies on my account and on 28th May, the movies would be gone and my bill should reflect that.

I check my next bill and it's 68.53

I phoned again and was told (after a few minutes on hold) that i didn't have movies2 listed on my account, it was an error, she would fill out a form and it would get credited back. I look on my sky today and see i've had this added to my APRIL 28th bill which i already paid

      Credit for Cancellation of 1 Pack with Movies 2 (New) 28/05/11 - 10/06/11 12.42

Then on my current bill, which is to be paid on the 11/6 i see this:

      2 Pack with Movies 2 11/06/11 - 10/07/11 28.50
      Sky+ Subscription 11/06/11 - 10/07/11 0.00
      2 Pack with Movies 2 21/05/11 - 10/06/11 19.31
      Subtotal: 47.81

      Full bill: 68.53

I'm having a hard time even understanding how they came to these numbers, should i call them again or wait a few days to see if any changes take effect?

Even if you do get a credit for the amount you will probably see it reappearing on your next bill. The error on your account is something the I.T department at Sky need to fix. I was in the same boat as you and was being overcharged. Spoke to various managers and they would give me a credit but the charge would come back the following month. Finally I got it resolved via email using My Sky.

My advice would be to send them an email explaining the issue in detail. Sometimes it's easier to understand things in writing then on the phone.

Well i phoned again and was told to wait 7 days, and i would be refunded every penny from the movies error, but i think you're right, i will email as well in a few days.
