      Sky+HD Box problem!

Hi, im new to this forum, so im hoping someone may have an idea what might be wrong! I've had sky+HD installed for a couple months now, and for some reason the last 4 weeks or so everytime my tv is turned off when iturn my tv back on i get an blue screenon sky saying either "no satellite signal is being received or your viewing card is not (can't remember what it says, something about my viewing card though!)" i have to unplug to get the sky back on, this is everytime the tv is turnedoff, im soo confused! I have multiroom and have no problems at all with my box upstairs, my bill is all up to date its so annoying if im recording something on a nighttime the sky box freezes,
      Anyone have any ideas??
also when i get the blue screen i get a number in the corner of the box saying 10 or 30 , i've had both numbers tonight!!
      Thanks you!!

It sounds like the TV is switching the input. Is the Sky receiver in standby? (does it have the red standby light on it)?

Can you get it back on when you swap TV inputs?

Switch off the upstairs box at the mains, and leave it switched off. Then reboot the HD box also at the mains, and see what happens.

If you've got a Thomson Sky+ box upstairs, and connected to the same LNB on the dish, it may be having an effect on the performance of the other box. Usually failing capacitors. It's another suggestion you have to consider.

Some TVs chuck out a lot of interference - especially when switched on or off. As a test, try moving your Sky Digibox as far away from other equipment as the cables allow.
