No signal
Hi all
I have an engineer due to come out on Wed afternoon due to not having a signal to either of my Sky boxes.
This happened on Friday night following some rain - then came back on Saturday - but then went again on Sunday night & as of now no signal.
However last night - I was not able to watch items from my planner - however today I am able to watch them on the box downstairs but not upstairs (i was able to until I re-booted the box earlier today.
I have tried the various reboots, checking connections, re-sets in the installer menu - without joy.
Any ideas on what this would be as the errors are not consistent??
Thanks in advance.

Re: No signal
Could be the wiring or the LNB on your dish. The engineer will take care of it.

Re: No signal
Water's got in somewhere, or, as suggested, you have a cable/LNB fault.
Panasonic TX-P50G10B, Onkyo HTS 3305, Sky+HD Thomson 4E3007 (with upgraded PSU & WD5000AVDS HDD),

Re: No signal
Thanks for the reply.
Engineer came out and deemed the dish, LNB & cabling needed replacing - all now works.
The Sky guy was excellent - friendly and informative.
Great service - credit where credit is due.
Regards
