      Wiring up multiroom

      Hi

I currently have Sky HD in my living room, I want to put a Sky + box in the bedroom directly above the living room and next to the outside satalite dish, can anyone tell me how to wire this up, either from the dish or any other way?

      cheers

      Re: Wiring up multiroom

      You will need to:

      * double check that the LNB on your dish has 2 spare ports for the Satellite cable

      * run a twin-coax satellite cable (for ease) from the dish to the location where you wish to site the STB

      * fit a pair of F-Plugs to each end of the cable (i.e. 4 in total)

      * subscribe to Sky's multi-room and enable the Sky+ STB with a suitable viewing card

The most important part is to measure the length of the cable as it gets expensive and you don't want it to be short by even 1/2 a metre.
