Input 2 no signal
Hi all, got sky in 7 months ago and about 4 months ago input 2 lost it's signal, dish is on roof so I can't see if there's anything blocking it is there anything I can do this end to help?
Would a hard reset help?

If you are still within your warranty period, call Sky support and get it fixed for free.
A reset is unlikely to fix no signal problems.
Are you in flats? If so someone may have taken your dish connection.

Someone hasn't taken it as it will come and go as it pleases and I can't see anyone going up on our roof lol
Was hoping to get it sorted without needing to get SKY in but I know I'm within my years warranty so I will call them out if it comes to it

Look at the signal input via services and you should see input 1 light up, swap the cable over 1 to 2 etc and then you should see input 2 light up.
If input 1 lights up after that then there is a problem with the box, if input 2 then lights up you know there is no signal coming from the dish on input 2 so....
Check the F connector box end and see of there are no shorts there and make sure its made correctly.
If after all that then call Sky, they will tell you to do this that and the other, go with the flow and they they will book a free service call.
