Re: sky box and subtitles other language, how can I add SRT files
You can't. Movies and other premium content is encrypted. Even if you managed to capture them on a pc, they'd be unplayable.
The USB is OUT only, and at the moment only carries a 9v power supply on some boxes ( good for charging mobiles etc ).
The best you can do is select Arabic in Subtitles, and see if any of the Arab channels carry subtitles.
You'd be better off grabbing the movie online and add .srt files if available. Some players automatically add .srt files. VLC is one, I think.Panasonic TX-P50G10B, Onkyo HTS 3305, Sky+HD Thomson 4E3007 (with upgraded PSU & WD5000AVDS HDD),

Re: sky box and subtitles other language, how can I add SRT files
The Sky STB is a PVR that has been limited on purpose.
It downloads broadcast material from the satellites and decrypts them for viewing.
Any stored files are as they were transmitted and you will always require your Sky card to be current.
Any subtitles are stored as part of the files on the Sky STB.
Currently it would appear that any content downloaded from Anytime+ does not have subtitles included.
As for Arabic subtitles, I rather suspect that most of the Sky channels do not actually include these. Arabic is an option on the setup.
Most of the material is aimed at an English speaking population, so even the Welsh (I suspect there are more Welsh speakers than Arabic in this country) suffer.
