      Pixellated and missing channels

      Hi there,
This is my first post and I realise you're all probably sick of hearing this question...sorry! Some of the channels on my sky hd box packed up a couple of days ago. It's a Thompson, so I guess it might me the power supply (having read other threads), but since it happened during the bad wind and rain we've been having this week, I wondered if it could be something else. The channels that are pixellated and broken are listed below. All other channels are fine, so I just wanted to check whether this sounded like the usual psu problem. I also have a freeview setup running off the same lmb which has no problems at all. Thanks for your help.

Could be many things, Dish alignment, LNB faulty, cabl fault, receiver fault.

Best bet would be to ring Sky, for 65 they will repair/replace whatever is needed.

The box is zonked. If your Freesat is working OK off the same LNB, it's a 99% cert you need it fixed. Search for more on Thomson PSU.
      Panasonic TX-P50G10B, Onkyo HTS 3305, Sky+HD Thomson 4E3007 (with upgraded PSU & WD5000AVDS HDD),
