New to Sky - A few Questions

      Hi all

I'm new to Sky and wonder if you can help with a couple of questions I have.

When I turn on my sky and tv I get a messgae about ensuring my phone line is connected to my sky box? The engineer didn't say anything about connecting the phone line and didn't leave a lead for me to do it. I dont intent to use Box Office so do I need to connect to my phone and if so how? Also is there anyway to turn off this message?

Once I've pressed backup to get away from the phone line message, I'm then in the sky tutorial page. Is there anyway to turn this off so that I automatically go onto a channel.

A few trivial points I know but if my little boy turns the tv on he cant get past these to get to Mickey

      Cheers.

The phone line doesn't need to be connected if you've only got one box. Multiroom requires a phone connection.

To move away from the Sky Customer pages, select any channel you want, eg 101 for BBC 1.

As a matter of routine, keep the box in standby when not in use. You get these messages etc only when you bootup from the mains, not when just coming out of standby.
