      hi just letting you lot into my problems to see what views you have or views on this .

      1st of i used to be an existing sky customer and still to this day i recieve promotional codes to come back to sky the last offer i recieved was this
      FREE HD BOX
      HALF PRICE SKY ANY PACKAGE FOR 12 MONTHS
      50 M & S VOUCHERS
      VALID TILL 24TH DECEMBER SO STILL VALID
      call this number 08442 411 356 quoting *******
      so i called them this is where there fun starts - 1st they tried to say thye cant find my existing account so they cant give me the deal , then they said that this offer does not even exist , so this is what i did i still have my old sky box and viewing card so i give them the card number still they cant find me then i send proof of direct debts from my bank then i forwarded the offer they still wont budge my point is this if my account does not show on the system why still send my promotional deals to my name and my adress , 2nd of all why dont they honour the deal quoted with written proof .i have writen letters of complants in because i wnat to take the matter further because i know i wont be the 1st ex customer to be offered this deal and i surely wont be the last if i get no joy i shall be seeking more advice because i would go as far as saying i think this is false advertising would any 1 agree to that .....all i can say if you have this offer good luck in getting it ...funny how i am still on the marketing list but not on the system funny how they are not aware of the deal not even in WIN BACK but thye should be upon recieveing my printed letter i have sent back. does not matter to me how long ago i was a customer if i am not eligable why send the offers to my adress they should honour the price any views

      I realise some unfortunate people have this disability but there's no point in writing it yourself if the recipient can't understand it.

      end of the day what is there not to understand -
      1. i was set an offer for half price sky tv for 12 months for an existing customer
      2.i was already an existing custormer when i phoned and they won't honour the deal
      so this resulted in my eyes as false advertising

      hope this break down is clear for you martin ) ps. if you have you view on the way i write keep them to yourself in future before commenting on some 1 being disabled smart ass

      You could try phoning again and perhaps you will get through to someone more helpful. Failing that you could try emailing the top person at Sky Jermey Darroch, do a Google search for his email address.

      It's nothing to do with perfect English and a lot to do with it being difficult to fully understand a block of text like that without punctuation. Calling people dicks on a help forum isn't exactly the best way of resolving something but then being a member of the "punctuation police" isn't always the most helpful thing either.

      As has been suggested contact them again, if you speak to 3 people in the same department you often get 3 different outcomes, or contact the head man or use the email address provided.

      You could also use the contact us page on the Sky help center to send an email in.

      thanks for those who give me helpful feedback. sorry if i affended any 1 else but i was affended after writing only a draft post to have a reply like i did which concerned nothing to do with my post only my Punctuation.
