Sky installation
Hi Guys Need some help. My daughter is getting Sky and she was told by the sub contractors there would be an extra charge if the cable from the Sky dish to her TV was over 15 meters .Is that the norm? Thanks in advance

Re: Sky installation
It's actually quite common for subbies to charge extra for cable, as a lot of them pay for it themselves and can't claim the costs back from sky. Cable is a very expensive at the moment due to a world shortage of copper. Most cable has a metre count printed on so you can make sure you don't get ripped off.
Some charge after 15mtrs, some will go to 20mtrs. Expect to pay approx 60 pence per metre.
