Sky deny existence of email offer
I received a promotional email in September from Sky. It offered a 2 month trial period of Movies and sport. It said it should be applied for by the 5th November. on the 4 th November I applied for the offer. A web age came up, and confirmed the order. It said it would be done within 48 hours. Now, four days later still nothing. I called Sky, and was told that they have no email on their system. I asked the operator to clarify that, and was told that they have no record of the email being sent to me with this offer on their system.
I tried asking as to why I hadn't got the offer, and it was repeated to me every time, " there's no email on our system". Is my only recourse a customer service complaint 'in writing'. Especially when Every other transaction can be done over the phone.
I'm effectively being told I've made the offer up. I have the email still in my inbox. But the woman on the phone had no interest in it, after I offered to forward it to her. It must be legitimate as it contains my account information in the coding of the email.
Any ideas of what I can do about this? Apart from an all out cancellation in disgust?
Cheers,
Jason

Forward the email to jeremy.darroch@sky.com with a polite but firm complaint.

Re: Sky deny existence of email offer
Something similar to this happend to me! I was going to leave sky, Due to the extremely slow broadband speeds and unreliable features. However as i was about sky told me that they would give me a special offer to pay less. I accepted and -Regretably- Stayed with sky. And to this day i haven't seen any reductions in costs...

When the offered you this did you not make note as to what you were agreeing to, perhaps it was a discount on a viewing package ?
