I have recently had Sky+HD installed, and since day one it has cut off my internet id say... every hour? (I'm with a different Internet provider, Talk Talk, who are in fact the worst providers i have ever been with.) I have called Talk Talk, and they tested my line and said there is no fault with them (Surprising.) I didn't think it was with them in the first place, i was just making sure.
Anyway, not only has it cut my internet off, my phone line goes dead, and when my internet cuts off, it rings once, stops, then makes a funny ringing tune and cuts off.
I'm not 100% certain if it is Sky, But I'm quite sure it is because as I said I have had this issue since day one of having Sky installed. it's really starting to get on my nerves and i have no idea how to fix this issue. I have tried contacting Sky technical support, they are useless, if you have ANY ideas on how to fix this i will be really grateful for your help.

I have unplugged my Sky box from the phone line yes.
I have just left it like the man left it, im guessing he put a filter on it?
I went out and bought a few filters and put them on all my phone box thingys. It just made the problem worse i think.

- How many telephone sockets do you use in the house?
- Does every telephone socket have a filter connected as the first thing? In other words, where you have the sky tv plugged in you'll likely notice another 'two-way' blank white box (sky tv splitter). Ensure that's plugged after the filter into the 'phone' side on the filter.
