Yes, I'm 99% sure that if you are paying a multiroom sub then it will be ok to have a second + box.
You will have to ring sky to pair your new box with the viewing card.

Yes, you can replace your basic sky box with a sky+box, but you will need an extra feed from your sky dish, as sky+ has 2 satellite tuner inputs.
Check behind your box if there is a spare cable, or look at the lnb on the dish, are there 3 wires or 4? If only 3, then you will need to buy a long enough satellite cable to run from the spare output on the dish to the bedroom, and 2 x twist on f-connectors. When you get the box and have connected everything, phone sky to pair the viewing card with the sky+ box and activate the recording facility. If buying off eBay, make sure you research the seller and their feedback before buying. Only pay via PayPal as this offers buyer protection if something goes wrong during or for up to 45 days after the sale. You can also buy second hand sky+ boxes from high street stores like Cash Converters and Cash Generator - they have a short warranty, usually about 1 month. Don't buy one from a newspaper (private sale), car boot or fayre/market, as there is little or no comeback.

Same cables. Same set up. No difference.
      Panasonic TX-P50G10B, Onkyo HTS 3305, Sky+HD Thomson 4E3007 (with upgraded PSU & WD5000AVDS HDD),
