      sky dish-freeview

      ok my mum n dad have sky in sky+ in 1 room sky normal in other n i was wonderin if i could plug a cable into the dish and lead it into my freeview box and is it legal?
      if not is there any multiroom offer without the box that sky offer? ty

      You can plug in as many receivers as you like to the dish, it is just a gloryfied aerial and is certainly not illegal.

      You will need either another Sky receiver or a freesat TV to connect it too and maybe a freesat from Sly card 20 one off payment.

      Just to clarify - FreeSAT is a free satellite service, and FreeVIEW is a free terrestrial service.

      Plugging a dish into a FreeVIEW receiver won't work.
