Only Channel 4

Hi,

New user here, so forgive me if I've hit the wrong section.

I live in a granny flat and share a sky multiroom connection with the main house. The main wall of the house has recently been repointed and has had scaffolding in front of the dish for nearly 2 months. With no signal I have had the Sky box switched off.

The scaffolding came down today and on firing the box back up I can only receive Channel 4, S4C and BBC ALBA. There may be more, but I haven't found them yet.

I get a mixture of 'No Sattelite Signal is Being Received' and 'This is the wrong viewing card' message.

I suspect the builders may have knocked the dish out of alignment, but that doesn't explain why my card is wrong.

Any Ideas?

As you say, the dish is probably knocked out of alignment. I don't think it will matter what your card says if the dish is not pointing at the correct satellites. What do the others using the dish get? If they get the same then the dish needs re-aligned.
