Loss of some, channels....

Evening folks,

New here so please be kind...

I am having a problem with my Sky+ box. I have lost some, not all of my channels. C5, Sky1 main and some other history, Nat Geo etc..

I get msg up saying 'No signal received' and either 28 or 30 for my information.

Could this be a faulty LNB? if so could someone out there recommend a new one and if you can are they easy to replace and do you need to set them up?

Sky either want £65, or £11.35 a month for 12 months to come and have a look at it.

One of my other options was to add a Freesat box to it for use in our bedroom, is this also possible?

Yes but more likely a faulty Digibox (what's the make and model number on the label?) or a faulty cable (how old is it?).

Yes, in theory, if you have a spare LNB output (and you almost certainly have, since you have Sky+).
