ok i just bought the slingbox pro from john lewis.

I am concerned now...

I have a SKY+ box connected to my computer via RF.
I want to be able to watch the same channel im watching but on my laptop somewhere else in my apartment. I understand the slingbox can do this (yes, I have a network/router)

BUT, can the SKY+ output to 2 different sources at the same time? So RF but also composite? I dont wanna have to use my main computer to use the slingbox software....

answer: yes. woohooo. i tried it

connected the silng box pro to the composite for A/V and S-Video from the sky+box to the slingbox pro.
and didnt modify or touch the RF connection going from the sky+ box to my TV Card.

works great!

but I get poor quality on my local network (doesnt connect via the net) - the sound bitrate sounds very low, same thing with the video.
